David Torun

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Economics at the Harvard Kennedy School, affiliated with the Harvard Growth Lab and CESifo.  Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Diego. I hold a PhD from the University of St.Gallen.

My research focuses on international trade and international economics, with current projects studying:

• the formation and stability of trade relations

• the propagation of shocks through transportation networks

• the role of history in shaping trade patterns

• the harmonization of product codes over time
